Kieron Cameron from Glasgow is aiming for a podium finish as the European Drifting Championships head to Knockhill on May 16th, for round 2 of the 5 Modified Live Championships. Drifting is one of the most awe inspiring demonstrations of driver precision and skill you will ever witness and a sport which has stimulated the aftermarket tuning world in recent years and created a whole new and flourishing lifestyle scene in the process.
In Drifting, competitors are not racing, instead its a judged sport based of the test of driver skill, car control, elegance, machine set-up and outright speed and determination – and all this while navigating sideways through a set course with precise rules, clipping points and zones to hit whilst your opponent is intent on doing it even better within inches of your car.
Come and cheer on Cameron as he takes on Europes best at Drifting. Add in some of the fastest cars in the UK in Timeattack, won overal last year by Knockhill’s own Rory Butcher in a 700bhp Evo, the Modified Live is sure to be an awesome event. Tickets are £15 at the gate.
