Rally greats honour Colin McRae in Perth

Some of the greatest names in world rallying — including five former world champs Hannu Mikkola, Ari Vatanen, Bjorn Waldegard Stig Blomqvist, and Scot Louise-Aitken Walker — celebrated the life of Colin McRae by driving two-wheel-drive MkII Ford Escorts in the Perth-based Colin McRae Forest Stages Rally.

Liddell misses out on Grand-Am GT title

Edinburgh’s Robin Liddell has agonisingly missed out on the Rolex Grand-Am Series GT “crown” for the second time in his career. The 34-year-old Scot was denied the GT championship by just nine points after finishing second in class in the 13th and final race of the season in Salt Lake City, Utah.
