Dumfries racing ace Allan McNish will lead Audi’s assault to retain the Le Mans 24-Hours next month. The 39-year-old, who dominated the event last year, will again be partnered by Italian Dindo Capello and Tom Kristensen from Denmark.

British Touring Car Championship race winner Gordon Shedden has been awarded the prestigious 2009 Jim Clark Memorial Award. Gordon, Knockhill’s Business Development Manager, and married to circuit owner Derek Butcher’s daughter Jillian, made his BTCC debut in a Ford Focus in 2001.
